Alcohol Production Plant (APP) was created in 1947 as a part of Sugar Production Plant "Chełmża" S.A.. Spirit Production in APP was originally based on molasses and the product was used for rectification or dehydration. It is worth to know that the dehydrated spirit, even then, was a very important fuel component. During so many years of existence production profile was modernized or changed with a application of the state of the art technologies, available at the time. The most important modifications were introduced within a few last years. The most important ones are the following

Modernization of rectification installation – the core of the modernization was adding fourth column, so called "methanol column" (or "correcting column") to the existing three column rectifying installation. The effect was improvement of physical, chemical and organoleptic properties of rectified alcohol. Thanks to applied vacume rectification technology properties improvement was achieved without cost increase.
Distillation installation modernization in 2009 – existing one column distillation unit was complemented by additional concentrating column which improved the properties of raw alcohol and because of implemeting vacuum technology we managed to make it without the increase of cost.
Assembly of new line for packaging of chemical products in 2009 - in order to meet a growing demands of our customers the line for packaging of chemical products was installed. Chemical products based on alcohol are packed in a bottles with volume from 500ml up to 5000ml.
